Despite delays and controversy surrounding the movie, Disney’s live action, “Snow White” has finally hit theatres. The movie outlines the original Snow White story that most people have come to know and love, with a twist. The new live action version is meant to expand on the backstory of the Disney Princess - but changes a few parts of the story.
“Kids enjoyed it because that’s who it’s for. You know, it’s live action, it’s Disney, it’s bright, it’s colorful, and it’s the story we all know. From growing up and just looking at it now in a whole different light with live people, it’s like, okay let’s see how it works out,” said movie reviewer, Greg Russell.
Greg rated the movie three out of five reels.
Greg also reviewed the movie, “The Alto Knights.” This release stars Robert Deniro taking on a familiar role as two different mob boss characters all in one movie.
This was also rated three out of five reels.
If you’d rather add a series to your weekend watch list, “The Residence” just came to streaming on Netflix. This is an eight-episode series about a murder at the White House.
