Italian food with a flare, that’s what one restaurant in Dearborn is offering. “We wanted a place where we offer halal Italian food, something unique to the Dearborn area,” said Hisham Diab, Executive Chef and Owner of Tiliani. He said the dishes aren’t the only unique thing about their restaurant. The olive oil they use comes from their family’s farm in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, where Diab’s grandfather has hand-picked the olives for 50 years. “They are cold pressed, unfiltered, and the secret to a lot of our cooking,” he said. Tiliani is located at 1002 S. Military St., Dearborn, MI.
