Easter is fast approaching and while parents traditionally have filled up those baskets with sugary treats and candy – it doesn’t have to be that way.
Lifestyle and parenting expert Amanda Mushro joined “Live In The D” to explore some creative alternatives to help curb that sugar rush.
One of the items she suggested includes DIY kits that can help children get their creative juices flowing.
“I think Easter is the perfect time to freshen up [kids’] craft supplies,” said Mushro, who recently attended the International Toy Fair in New York City.
