Easter is just around the corner, and now is the time to roll out some fun activities for the family.
LittleGuide Detroit founder Kerry Doman appeared on “Live In The D” to share some Easter-themed ideas that you can try at home.
First, she talked about Easter egg alternatives. Instead of traditional eggs, Kerry suggested decorating wooden eggs. She said you can even hang plastic eggs outside on the trees to decorate.
Instead of sugary treats, Easter baskets can be filled with toys like stuffed animals and puzzles. Kerry shared another alternative to candy, which is wooden bunnies that you can write messages on and turn into tokens.
Kerry also mentioned a friendly way to “egg” your neighbor’s house by filling a large plastic egg with goodies like playing cards and candy. You can leave it on their porch with a sticker that says “You’ve been egged!”
