There’s a music festival coming this weekend to Detroit’s Corktown Neighborhood. Not only will it bring a variety of music, it also benefits a great cause.
“The fest will be at 9 venues total throughout the weekend including in the Southwest area,” said Ameera Bandy, with SB Music Alliance Group.
The Corktown Music Festival is happening April 24 through April 26.
She said there will be more than 150 bands, ranging from Rock, Acoustic Acts, and Hip-Hop. She said all the proceeds from the event will go to “Passenger Recovery,” an organization that helps with drug and alcohol recovery.
