It could be a home run for foodies when Mootz Pizzeria & Bar teams up with Griffin Claw Brewing Company for a baseball-themed 7-course meal.
The unique dining experience is being called the Seventh Inning Stretch Pairing Dinner. Each course will feature a baseball-themed dish paired with a beverage from Griffin Claw.
Diners will start off with salt and peppercorn paired with Griffin Claw’s Mr. Blue Sky American Wheat Ale. Next up to the plate is the citrus herb vinaigrette salad with a Clementine Crush shandy. Then, diners will be served a soft salted pretzel paired with an El Rojo Red Ale followed by a spicy sausage po’boy with an IPA. The fifth course will feature bourbon-infused brisket nachos paired with bourbon. The next course is a Mootz Bee Sting slice with an IPA. The menu’s seventh course is vanilla ice cream topped with Night Owl Coffee Whiskey.
The special pairing dinner is being held Thursday, April 24th at Side Hustle Lounge on Library Street in Detroit. The dinner runs from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
