‘The Motherhood’ is helping single moms

New series is coming to the Hallmark Channel

A new unscripted Hallmark series is bringing new meaning to the phrase ‘it takes a village’ as a group of women help single moms on the show.

Actress Connie Britton is the host and creator of “The Motherhood”. Britton, a single mom herself, shared that she was inspired to create the show because of her own experiences around recognizing that she needed a community to be the best mom that she could be.

Britton has teamed up with “The Neighbor Ladies” to help other single moms. The group is made up of parenting coach Destini Ann Davis, style and self-love expert Taryn Hicks, and home design specialist Angela Rose who each bring their own skills to the table.

The first two episodes of “The Motherhood” air Monday, May 5th on Hallmark Channel.
