Fans of sweet treats can get a taste of Filipino-inspired desserts at the Detroit bakery called JP Makes & Bakes.
JP Peregrino is the man behind the bakery and its creations. JP explained that he started to make treats incorporating a lot of flavors from home that he really missed during the pandemic.
JP Makes & Bakes offers a variety of desserts, including Ube cookies and Ube brownies, which are made with a purple yam that’s very prevalent in the Philippines.
