Balloons are a popular decoration for parties, and there’s a Detroit shop that’s helping customers celebrate in style.
Bouncing around the Motor City offers balloon sculptures, party rentals, and event services.
“I saw a gap in Detroit where there wasn’t a balloon store, and I got inspired when I purchased the building and I saw that there was an opportunity to not only make a community difference, but inspire job and kind of rebirth the business district of Fenkell Avenue,” Cathryn Coleman, the founder of Bouncing Around the Motor City.
Bouncing Around the Motor City won the Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest in 2023 and a $100,000 grant.
