This Detroit restaurant offers noodle bowls packed with flavor

Traditional Ramen Noodles with a Motor City flare

Ramen noodles are all the rage, but there’s a restaurant near Southwest Detroit that’s been doing it for a while. “This is one of Detroit’s oldest Ramen shops, going on over 10 years old,” said Leslie Molnar, Executive Chef at Johnny Noodle King.

Tucked away nearly under the Ambassador Bridge, the restaurant is kind of hidden, and Molnar said they like it that way. “All these years, Detroiter’s have always found us, and that’s been great.”

He said it’s because their noodle bowls are packed with flavor. “We took a trip to Tokyo, brought back those flavors and put a Detroit twist on them.”
