A cooking showdown is coming to Detroit

A fun, friendly competition for a great cause

Detroit, get ready for a cooking showdown. Iron Chef Detroit II is taking place at Eastern Market on Thursday, and last years winner, chef Anthony Lombardo from Shewolf Pastificio & Bar is returning to defend his title.

“At Shewolf Pastificio, we mill our own pasta, no preservatives, everything is fresh,” said Lombardo.

Ahead of the action, he stopped by “Live in he D,” along with Erica George, the Deputy Director of Cass Community Social Services.

At Cass, we focus on four areas, food, housing, health, and jobs,” George said.

The competition benefits Cass Community in their efforts to feed over 300 people, 3 meals a day.
