Spice up your rolls on International Sushi Day

You can add wasabi or spicy aioli to your sushi

Whether you love spicy tuna rolls, California rolls, or dragon rolls, it might be the perfect time to enjoy your favorites because International Sushi Day is June 18th.

When it comes to making sushi at home, the rice could be trick to rolling up success. It’s all about getting the right mixture of rice, vinegar, and sugar, said Tony Vitale from Blind Owl Restaurant, which has locations in New Baltimore and in Royal Oak.

You can spice up your sushi with wasabi or spicy aioli, Vitale explained.
