Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan highlights city’s progress in 2024 State of the City speech

DETROIT – Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan delivered his 2024 State of the City address on Wednesday night.

The event was Duggan’s 11th State of the City speech.

He’s talked about ongoing fiscal and neighborhood revitalization ahead of the NFL draft, which will draw hundreds of thousands to see the city’s progress, among other things.

The speech was delivered at Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in the 3350 block of west Davison Street in Detroit.
