Supporting local businesses, especially around a holiday, is very important to me and that’s why I created a list of beers you can pick up for your father figure this Father’s Day weekend.
I hope you and your dad have a lovely weekend.
Cheers! 🍻
Not sure what to get your dad for fathers day? Maybe a six-pack from his favorite local brewery.
Obviously, we all know that a premium dad beer can be satisfying, but perhaps treat your father figure to something local and with more flavor than a generic wheat beer.
Below are some local beers for you and your father figure to check out.
IPA
- This IPA is a double dry-hopped double rice India Pale Ale (DDHRIPA). Four different hops are contributing to giving the beer aromatic fruitiness balance.
- Currently, the brewery is selling its beer via crowlers and growlers.
NEW ENGLAND IPA
- One of Brew Detroit’s haziest beers that are brewed with Mosaic and Hallertau Blanc hops.
- The beer notes are mango, stone fruit and tropical fruit.
- According to their website, the NEIPA delivers with a pillowy mouthfeel & subtle white wine finish.
STOUT/PORTER
- This coffee stout is made with a local roaster’s Ethiopian Yirgacheffe that gives the beer coffee notes.
- According to Eastern Market Brewing Co.’s website, there are impressions of sweet white mocha and cocoa.
LAGER
- The beer is a Mexican lager that is brewed with lime.
- This lager is sold in four-packs and can be found at any Griffin Claw location.
SOUR
- The brewery writes that the flavor notes of this sour are lime, grapefruit, orange and tart finish
