DETROIT – Officials arrested 14 members of the Playboy Gangster Crips street gang in connection to several violent crimes in northwest Detroit.
Court documents said the gang is accused of murder, armed robbery, carjacking and drug trafficking in the area of Seven Mile Road between Lahser and Evergreen roads.

Gang members are accused of using vacant houses in the area, including two in the 19000 block of Trinity Street, and a local gas station to sell drugs. Officials said they also used social media to sell illegal firearms and drugs.
Investigators said they identified the Playboy Gangster Crips while investigating two other gangs recently prosecuted in Detroit: The Bounty Hunter Bloods and the Rollin' 60 Crips. Officials said the Playboy Gangster Crips are rivals with the two other gangs, investigators said.
Here are the 14 suspects who were arrested, as well as the charges they face.
- Jvon Clements, known as "Toon," 25, of Detroit, is charged with with RICO conspiracy, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense and felon in possession of ammunition.
- Winston Hill, known as "Shady Blue," 23, of Sterling Heights, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Dawon Taylor, known as "J-9," 21, of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Ron Benson Jr., known as "Duke," 23, of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Devante Crockett, known as "TBK," 22, of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Deshaun Tisdale, known as "Havoc," 23, of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Davon Moultrie, known as "Blue," 21, of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Deondre Casey, known as "Trouble," of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Andre Tinsley, known as "Danger," 23, of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Dangelo Davis, known as "Black," “Sosa," 27, of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Recharl Boynton, known as "Bear," “Cee," 26, of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Anthony Marshall, known as "Hitman," 20, of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Nathaniel Brown, known as "Nino," 23, of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy.
- Darryl Grizzard, known as "Deezy," 27, of Detroit, is charged with RICO conspiracy and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
