For the second straight year, the Lions will be nationally televised for a preseason matchup. The game is set for August 17 against the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore.
The last time the franchise was nationally televised in consecutive years for preseason games was in 1991-93--dating back to the days the Lions had with Barry Sanders.
The Lions travel to Oakland to face the Raiders somewhere between August 23 and 26 and then finish the season hosting the Buffalo Bills the following week.
