CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police investigating a fire at a Clinton Township apartment complex are calling it a case of arson sparked by a man's fight with his wife.
28-year-old Anthony Jerome Mitchell is charged with arson, domestic violence, and attempted murder in connection with Saturday's fire at the Rivercrest Arms apartments on Denton Road near Metropolitan Parkway.

Police believe Mitchell was trying to kill his wife by burning down the building shortly after the two had an argument.
Some tenants had to climb down ladders to escape the flames.
