DETROIT – Detroit police are looking for the driver of an SUV that slammed into a house Friday morning on the city's west side.
Police and witnesses said a white Chevy Suburban was going about 100 miles an hour when it crashed into the house at Woodrow Wilson and Euclid just after 5 a.m.
It crumbled bricks, siding and a porch cover on the front of the home and continued to roll into the yard of the house next door.
The drive fled on foot.
There was a man inside the house at the time of the crash. He wasn't hurt but told Local 4 it sounded like a bomb had gone off.
