HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. – Crime Stoppers has released the photo of a man wanted for questioning in connection with the abduction and sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl.
The assault took place between 7:45 and 8:15 a.m. Dec. 10 on Church Street, in the area of McNichols and John R, authorities said.
The girl was on her way to school when the person of interest abducted her at gunpoint and forced her into a vacant house, where she was sexually assaulted, officials said.
The suspect was described as a black male who is more than 6 feet tall and between 160 and 180 pounds. He is possibly in his mid-to-late 20s and has pitted skin in his cheek areas.
Crime Stoppers of Michigan said it is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
