ROMULUS, Mich. – Police say a man was killed Friday when he drove his car across the median on Interstate 275 near Interstate 94 and hit a semi truck in the northbound lane.
He has been identified as a 53-year-old Ohio man. The driver of the semi truck is a 48-year-old Harrison Township man who did not suffer any injuries.

Romulus police say alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in this crash, which is still under investigation.
Northbound I-275 was closed at I-94 after the incident. Both the eastbound and westbound ramps from I-94 to I-275 also were closed.
Everything is clear again.
