No description found

LIVONIA, Mich. – A Michigan State Trooper was policing a one-car spin-out crash Friday morning when his police car was hit by another car, which continued down the freeway.

Police say the trooper was on southbound I-275 near Six Mile Road when the 2015 Subaru, which was traveling in the left lane, crossed the fog line and hit the police car at around 6:50. The Subaru continued down the freeway without stopping after the incident.

The trooper cleared the first crash on site and attempted to stop the Subaru. The 74-year-old Troy man driving the Subaru didn't stop for the trooper.

When the trooper finally boxed-in the Subaru, the driver said that he'd hit something but he was late for his flight so he didn't stop. He was cited for leaving the scene of a crash and careless driving before being released.
