WESTLAND, Mich. – An auto repair shop warehouse burned Friday afternoon near Farmington and Ford roads in Westland.
Firefighters battled back flames as black smoke billowed into the air. One half of the building appears to be a total loss.
The Wayne-Westland fire chief told Local 4 tires were burning inside the building.
The warehouse is on Beechwood Street, which is one block north of Ford Road.
No injuries have been reported. Police believe all workers got out safely.
