LINCOLN PARK, Mich. – A stretch of northbound I-75 in the downriver area is expected to be closed for at least a week after a tanker fire crash.
- NB I-75 closed from Southfield Road to Outer Dr. (You can re-enter at Outer Drive)
The southbound lanes had also been closed, but reopened just after 11 a.m.

- Fort St. (However Fort St. bridge is closed over Rouge River), Dix Hwy., or I-94
Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw said the crash was reported about 3 a.m. Thursday. It appears the tanker struck the median before catching fire. No other vehicles were involved. The tanker driver is in critical condition.
