DETROIT – A crash late Sunday night in a construction zone on Interstate 94 in Detroit left two people dead and one in critical condition.
Michigan State Police said Detroit resident Marvin Harris was driving east in a closed construction lane at West Grand Boulevard when he hit two construction workers and a parked construction vehicle.
Harris was pronounced dead at the scene.
One of the construction workers, Rafael Castillo-Saavedra, of Detroit, was also pronounced dead at the scene.
The second construction worker was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
