DETROIT – The brawl between Detroit King High and Cody High School that spurred a controversial forfeiture, appeal, and later reversal, was caught on video.
The on-field brawl happened Friday and led to the Public School League forcing Detroit King's football team to forfeit to Cass Tech.
Parents and students voiced their concerns at a school board meeting Monday evening and asked that the decision be overturned.
The Detroit Public Schools emergency manager decided Tuesday to allow Detroit King's football team to compete for the Public School League championship.
