WALLED LAKE, Mich. – 
Firefighters in Walled Lake are battling a fire at Pepino's Restaurant and Lounge on Walled Lake Drive at Pontiac Trail.
No injuries have been reported.
Walled Lake Police Chief Paul Shakinas said the calls started coming in right before 3 p.m. Monday for a commercial building fire.

"When officers first responded there were already flames through the roof and coming out the windows. It was fully engulfed," said Shakinas.
The chief said the building has been part of Walled Lake for a "really long time."
"Turn of the century. It was one of the original buildings in Walled Lake," he said.
The owners told Local 4 the business has been in the family for 30 years.
"It means the world to our family. We've been here for 31 years," said owner Carol Bernardi. "Our parents started it. Many of our siblings worked in it, our children and grandchildren. We're devastated."
Shakinas said a nearby apartment building was evacuated while firefighters worked to contain the flames.
For now, the cause is unknown.
