ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Roseville police say they believe alcohol and speeding were factors in an early morning crash Thursday that killed a 32-year-old man.

Shane Caughey was going westbound on 12 Mile Road near Congress Street when he lost control of his 2007 Monte Carlo and crashed into a tree, police said.

He was wearing a seatbelt, but appeared to be going more than 70 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone, police said.
