Roseville High School student recovering after being hit by car

Witnesses say 14-year-old stepped in front of car, police say

ROSEVILLE, Mich. – A 14-year-old Roseville High School student is recovering after being hit by a car Wednesday near the school, police said.

Several witnesses said the student wasn't paying attention when he stepped out in front of a car near Common Road and Glenhurst Street, police said.

"This matter is under investigation, but at this time, it does not appear as if the driver of the vehicle involved in this incident will face any charges," police said in a statement.
