DETROIT – Four people were injured after a crash involving three cars Saturday, Detroit police said.
The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Plymouth Road and Memorial Street.
Police said a silver Ford Taurus was heading north on Memorial Street at a high rate of speed, disregarded a stoplight at Plymouth Road and struck a black SUV that was heading west on Plymouth.
The SUV hit a parked Lincoln. Police said a person inside the Lincoln was not hurt.
The 20-year-old driver of the Ford was listed in temporary serious condition and a 17-year-old passenger was listed in critical condition, police said.
The 20-year-old driver of the SUV was listed in stable condition. Police said a 22-year-old passenger inside the SUV was listed in temporary serious condition.
Those injured in the incident were taken by emergency medical services to a local hospital, police said.
