RIVER ROUGE, Mich. – A 21-year-old River Rouge man is facing a murder charge in connection with the fatal shooting of his step-father. 

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office said Charles Britton III is also charged with felony firearm.

Britton allegedly shot Kenneth Taylor, 51, multiple times after an argument Monday in a home on Campbell Street, the Prosecutor's Office said. 

Britton was arrested in the home. Taylor was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

Britton is awaiting his arraignment.
