DETROIT – A CVS pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint Saturday afternoon on Detroit’s east side.
The robbery happened on East Jefferson Avenue at about 1 p.m.

The 38-year-old manager went into the store office and saw the suspect, who pointed a gun at her and told her to open the safe.
The manager complied and the gunman took an unknown amount of cash.
He is described as black with a light complexion in his 20s. The man was wearing black sunglasses, a black jacket with white and green stripes, black shoes and was armed with a handgun.
