CLAY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Thousands of people gathered Friday for the annual Jobbie Nooner near an island on Lake St. Clair.
Boats have surrounded Gull Island, which is a relatively small island at the south tip of the larger Harsens Island in Macomb County.
It has been referred to as the "Mardi Gras of the Midwest." This is Jobbie Nooner's 42nd anniversary.
This attached video shows boaters set up about 11 a.m. Friday. The party goes for the rest of the day.
