LIVONIA, Mich. – A 64-year-old Livonia man was struck and killed Saturday afternoon when he lost control of his three-wheeled motorcycle on Farmington Road just north of 5 Mile Road.
Livonia police said he was traveling northbound on Farmington Road when he lost control of his three-wheeled Polaris Slingshot motorcycle and crossed into oncoming traffic. A Chevrolet Cruz struck him. The 54-year-old man driving the Cruz suffered only minor injuries.

The 64-year-old man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Livonia police said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this deadly crash, which remains under investigation.
