Halloween is still a month away, but many people have already picked out their costume for this year. Consumer website Popsugar analyzed shopping history from this year, and now we have an official list of the top 10 costumes for this holiday season.
1. Super Simone Biles
The number one costume you're likely to see this year is one-part Simone Biles, one-part Supergirl. To make this costume, you'll need a red leotard, a red cape, an Olympic gold medal, and you need to be very quick on your feet.
2. Bill Clinton and his balloons
If you watched the Democratic National Convention earlier this year, you may have noticed President Bill Clinton having the time of his life... playing with the balloons as they fell from the ceiling. To re-create this playful moment, all you need is a nice suit, and red, white and blue balloons.
3. Pokemon Go trainer
Gotta catch 'em all! All the trick-or-treat candy, that is. This costume, inspired by the hit game Pokemon Go, is easy to recreate. A recreational outfit, a hat with the Pokemon logo on it, and a handy pokeball to catch anything that happens to be on your trick-or-treat route.
4. Starbucks rainbow drinks
Get some friends, and dress up as an entire ensemble of Starbucks beverages. The only tricky part about this costume -- making sure that straw doesn't fall off your head!
5. Hodor (From Game of Thrones)
One of the most heartbreaking moments of the last season of Game of Thrones, was when this big lovable guy gave his life for the cause. (Oops, spoiler. Sorry). To pay homage, you can dress up in a robe, and hold the door for anyone coming your way. You may be asking yourself, "Why does he have a box of cereal on his back?" ... That's a little inside joke for Game of Thrones fans. Those are bran flakes.
6. Beyonce's "Lemonade"
Beyonce's latest album, "Lemonade," made such an impact in listeners, they went out and started recreating the album's name, (with a baseball bat for added emphasis).
We do not condone hitting someone with the bat. But we do endorse singing some Beyonce while you trick or treat.
7. Finn, Rey and BB-8 (From Star Wars)
The latest installment of Star Wars featured an entire cast of new characters, and a new robot companion. Recreating the outfits is easy. Mastering the lightsaber, not so much.
8. Harley Quinn (DC Comics character)
Harley Quinn has been a longtime favorite character for cosplayers, and her latest reincarnation in Suicide Squad has revived her fanbase. Bonus points to you if you can get a whole squad of people to recreate the entire cast of the film.
9. The "puppy" Snapchat filter
Snapchat filters come, and Snapchat filters go. But the "puppy" filter has stood the test of time, and has been a staple of the app's photo customization ever since the feature first debuted. Some people are recreating it in real life, complete with ears, a nose, and a dog tongue.
10. The Ghostbusters
The 2016 remake of the classic sci-fi comedy flick featured one major change from the original -- an all-female team. So now, anyone can grab three friends, buy some matching jumpsuits, and show all those trick-or-treaters you ain't afraid of no ghost.
