Man, 25, shot multiple times at gas station on Detroit's east side

Police say man is in critical condition

DETROIT – A man was critically wounded in a shooting Tuesday night  at a gas station on Detroit's east side, city police said.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. behind the Citgo gas station on Chalmers Street.

Police officers said they were on surveillance when they heard shots. A 25-year-old man was shot multiple times and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police have not made an arrest in the shooting.
