ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Three men were taken into custody Monday on charges of selling heroin and marijuana out of a car wash in Roseville.
After an investigation spanning several weeks, the detectives with the Special Investigation Division arrested three employees of Masters Car Wash on Gratiot Avenue.
Detectives received information of alleged narcotic trafficking out of the car was and identified three suspects involved in the activity.
“Apparently they would use it as a drop off point,” Roseville police Chief James Berlin said. “People would contact them and they would run next door to the gas station or drop drugs over the wall at the rear of the business.”
A 38-year-old Roseville man is being held on three counts of delivery of heroin. A 21-year-old Detroit man is being held on one count of possession of marijuana, two counts of delivery of heroin and one count of conspiracy to deliver heroin. A 32-year-old Detroit man is being held on four counts of delivery of heroin, one count of conspiracy to deliver heroin and one count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana. Warrants will be sought from the prosecutor’s office and formal arraignments are expected to take place Wednesday.
Authorities said the owner and other employees of the car wash are not under investigation.
“Had I known, I would have called the police myself,” store manager Don Dolan said.
