SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The body of a man in his 50s was found Wednesday afternoon in the area of Hixson and Auburn roads in Shelby Township, police said.
Officers responded to the call at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and found the man dead.

The man has been dead long enough that no medical aid could be administered, police said.
Officers found no obvious signs of trauma on the man's body, and nothing suspicious was found in the area.
