DETROIT – There are plenty of opportunities to show support for the fallen Wayne State University Police Sgt. Collin Rose with many upcoming events held in his honor.

To celebrate Rose's 30th birthday, there is a Run + Ride for Sgt. Rose and Officer Patrick Hill of the Detroit Police Department, consisting of a 5K at 9 A.M. followed by a 30 Mile bicycle ride at 11 A.M.

April 30:
A 5K will be held at Ferris State University Police Academy for Rose and other fallen Ferris academy graduates.
May 6:
There will be a screening of Marvel's Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 at the Emagine Theatre in Royal Oak at 5 P.M that will benefit the Collin Rose Enrichment Center at the Detroit Dog Rescue.

May 9-12:
The Police Unity Tour rides from northern New Jersey into Washington D.C. Rose's fiancé Nikki Salgot and Chris Powell are riding.

There is a Motorcycle Run for Rose.
May 20:
The Sgt. Collin Rose Baseball Bus will provide a shuttle to and from the Detroit Tigers game. Bus leaves from Baffin Brewing Company at 6:30 P.M. Proceeds benefit Project Paws Alive to help protect police canines.

June 7:
The Detroit Tigers play the Los Angeles Angels at 7:10 P.M. and will honor Rose at their annual Detroit Tigers Law Enforcement Night.

July 24:
The Inaugural Collin Rose Memorial Golf Outing at Lochmoor Club is sold out to golfers but tickets are available for the 6 p.m. dinner at the 19th Hole. Enjoy a buffet dinner, sides, and draft beer, along with a silent auction, raffles, and prizes.
There are also ongoing opportunities to purchase vinyl memorial stickers. Stickers are $5 each or 3 for $10.00.
Proceeds will be equally split between the charities: The Sergeant Collin J. Rose Memorial Scholarship at Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation, The Collin Rose Enrichment Center at the Detroit Dog Rescue, and Vested Interest in K9s and Project Paws Alive.
