ROYAL OAK TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Investigators were on the scene of an apartment fire Wednesday morning in Royal Oak Township.
The building is Royal Oak Towers on Wyoming near 8 Mile Road. One unit was damaged by flames and several others have smoke damage, authorities said.
A few people were taken to the hospital, suffering from smoke inhalation.
The Red Cross is assisting residents.
No word on what caused the fire.
