Police gave the all clear, but the court canceled the docket.

Sterling Heights police said the man found the round and didn't know what to do with it so he took it to the police station. Police quickly evacuated the court and high school along Dodge Park Road just south of Utica Road.

The ammunition is outside in a red van in a parking lot near the court and police station. Police have parts of the area taped off.

Stevenson High School had a half day of classes Wednesday, so there were no students in the building at the time of the evacuation order, a spokesman for Utica Community School said.
