GARDEN CITY, Mich. – Garden City police are searching for an alleged gunman who left a woman in stable condition.
The woman was shot in the legs and torso several times at an apartment on Venoy near Warren Road. Police say the shooting happened around midnight.

The shooter, identified by police as 23-year-old Jalen Hawkins, fled in the victim's vehicle which is a 2012 Red Ford Focus with plates DPM 0573.
