HAMTRAMCK, Mich. – Firefighters battled a two-alarm grocery store fire Saturday night along the Detroit-Hamtramck border.
The fire broke out at family-owned Khan's Grocery Store in the 12600 block of Gallagher Street, south of Davison Street and and a few blocks east of Joseph Campau Avenue.
The store closed around 8 p.m. and Local 4 News is told the fire started sometime after that.
No injuries have been reported, but the building has already suffered a lot of damage and could be a total loss.
Crews are not sure what started the fire.
