DETROIT – A woman in her 20s and a 39-year-old blind man were found dead Saturday night at a home on Epworth Street and Joy Road, police said.
Family members have identified the male victim as Murray Upshaw, who is visually impaired and who recently became the father of a baby girl.
Sources said Upshaw and his 22-year-old son got into an argument Saturday night at Upshaw's home.
According to sources, Upshaw's son left the home but then came back, only to fatally shoot Upshaw and an unidentified woman in the home.
Police were dispatched to the home around 10:15 p.m and found both victims who had been shot in the face.
They were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Investigators say the son is not cooperating with them.
