Police seek car involved with Romulus shooting that injured 13-year-old

ROMULUS, Mich. – Police are searching for a silver Ford Fiesta (see photo above) involved in a shooting Thursday evening that injured a teenager.

According to Romulus Capt. Derran Shelby, a white male in his 30s pulled up next to a car driven by a 17-year-old boy with passengers aged 15, 14 and 13 and fired three shots.

One of the bullets went through the trunk and lodged in the back seat, bruising the 13-year-old.  It happened near the Burger King on Wayne Road near I-94.

Police said the motive for the shooting is unclear.
