Michigan Congressman Mike Bishop (R-Rochester) tweeted Wednesday morning about a "lone gunman" opening fire on members of Congress and security during a charity baseball practice in Virginia.
Bishop represents Michigan's 8th District. He is a member of the GOP charity baseball team. They were practicing for the game which is scheduled for Thursday, June 15 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. when someone started firing at the members of Congress.

Michigan Republican congressmen Jack Bergman, who represents northern Michigan's 1st congressional district, and John Moolenaar (4th district in Midland) also are on the team.
Bishop, Bergman and Moolenaar all are at the practice. They are on lockdown. ClickOnDetroit has confirmed Bishop, Bergman and Moolenaar all are safe.
