DETROIT – Three people were killed when their home caught fire just before 1 a.m. this morning on the city's west side.
Detroit fire officials say the first floor of the home, located in the 18000 block of Lahser, was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived on scene.

A pair of twin boys, approximately 5-7 years old, and an adult female, believed to be their Grandmother, were found deceased on the second floor of the home.
A 4-year-old girl was transported from the home to Children's Hospital with second and third degree burns and is listed in critical condition.
The Detroit Fire Department Arson Investigators are at the home attempting to determine the cause of the fire.
