DETROIT – A UHAUL truck crashed into a clothing store Monday morning on Detroit's west side.
A large hole was left in the front of VIP Wear on West Outer Drive near the Southfield Freeway. Nearby businesses are in danger of water damage because the truck hit a sprinkler head in the ceiling. Water was gushing from the ceiling of VIP Wear.
Detroit police are investigating this as a possible smash-and-grab, but it's unclear if anything was taken. The UHAUL truck was parked in the parking lot with damage to its front end.
