DETROIT – Ray Whatley's life was taken over a bag of chips and beer.
The father of nine was gunned down outside an after hours club near East McNichols Road and Van Dyke. He was shot 11 times in the chest. His family said a drunk woman at the club was angry after being told she needed to pay for the chips and beer and egged on a cousin of hers to shoot Whatley because of it.

"We as a family, we can't believe. We want justice. We believe if someone can just speak up we can get this case solved," said Rose Paul, Whatley's sister.
Whatley's family said they know who the shooter is, and so do Detroit police. However, right now he's still on the loose. The family wants those who know his whereabouts to come foward.
