DETROIT – A man was killed and a woman remains in critical condition when their vehicle rolled over Friday morning on Detroit’s west side.
The crash happened at about 4:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of Fenkell Avenue.
According to police, a woman driving a Saab eastbound on Fenkell Avenue lost control of the vehicle and flipped over, striking a building.
The man in the vehicle was partially ejected through the sunroof and killed in the rollover crash. The woman was taken to the hospital and is in extremely critical condition. Neither has been identified.
Police said the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed.
Fenkell Avenue was closed while authorities conducted an accident investigation.
