DETROIT – The Little Caesars Arena official ribbon cutting and opening ceremony was Tuesday.
The arena is set to open to the public Sept. 12 with a Kid Rock concert.
The Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Pistons will play their 2017-18 seasons in this brand new arena starting this fall. The Red Wings open their season at home Oct. 5 against the Minnesota Wild.
Local 4 legend Carmen Harlan will serve as emcee of the festivities.
